"Reading Makes a Country Great."

Makes A
Country
Great!
September 11, 2001 - Elementary School, Sarasota, Florida
As he sat before a group of elementary school children engaged in a reading lesson, an aide entered from stage right and whispered to the President that a second jet had just hit the second tower at the WTC.
The close-up head shot of the President and his aide temporarily obscured a child-made, construction-papered poster, which remained afixed in the background and aside to an accompanying view of the President's expression of concern for seconds after the aide went out of frame. It read: "Reading Makes a Country Great!"
When I re-watched the National Geographic special on 9/11 tonight, this juxtaposition struck me. It made me think this:
The dumbing down of our country is a key ingredient of the long-range, Gramcian-istic plans of our enemy. Although it has been quite successful on a first echelon level (dumb kids graduating from HS going on to college), it has been even more effective on the second echelon level: experts, policymakers, leadership, and our intelligence, security and defense institutions oblivious to what 9/11 truly represents - proxy warfare by a determined enemy who has deceived us for decades.
The juxtaposition may have said more, but that's the best I could figure....afterall, I'm a partial product of the dumbing down of our society.

The way I see it is that we have an array of expert cops, indeed. The most (in)famous are our culture cops at Hollywood pushing for M. Jackson pedophile rights. They are so expert at checking those who care from those who don't. They are the Alice in Wonderland cops of nonsense.
I mean, mind you, some of them do their jobs well. The art of management in America is based in acquiring technologies and getting people to work. It's been doing wonders. However the KGB is much more comprehensive, and, when push comes to shove, our specialized cops feel vulnerable when questioned on higher more comprehensive levels. A Bill Gates would rather get some counselling or consultation from the KGB than having to listen to a concerned citizen. Bill Gates is interested in "world conquest", but on the Computer Operating System of things, within his own comfy domain. The Soviets have a crazier dream than just mere world territorial conquest, and it is total conquest of all things. This is what these knuckleheads do not understand. I mean, sure, they might hope or think they'll get a seat or a job with them, since they are such good cops, they think... but the KGB would not be bothered by their "expert opinions", mind you, for why would they? Bill Gates' not worried about nuke war, so why would the KGB be worried about Bill Gates getting a job? It's completely suicidal psychosis.
It's clear that there is an enforcement for dumbing down, "reading makes a country great" at a moment like this has Orwellian surreal metaphorical, and, if not, utterly psychotic implications, something you'd get out of somekind of dark humor horror show. You know, like in SouthPark: "Now, children, I would remind you we are under nuclear attacks, but let us not bother ourselves with that, we have an expert reading assignment to do."
There has to be a God for these things to happen like this. You cannot make this up. We do not deserve to be alive, it's a miracle we are. The world's a playground indeed, a playground where the dumbing down of people occurs as they are getting educated and tooled. It is basicaly the Matrix psychosis: all this robot like technology so that we do not have to worry about technology nor understanding it. "Science", or, rather, the cult of science, is like that, it's perverted, it's not even scientific in its insouciance in the end. It requires devotion to acquire it, but with an end to using it to avoid any kinds of devotions. End of history, humanism, people whacking each other without it bothering them one bit. Don't you interrupt their sleep over them interrupting entire lives, by all means, let us move on, let us stuff ourselves with food in the palm of our hands, not bothering stopping before stuffing our mouths, "overlooking" Christ's crucifiction marks in them.

Bill makes a good point. Particularly, with TV and video as "addictions" most folk adore images. An American "Saint" Elizabeth Seton, prophesized this in the 19th century, perhaps early 20th. that most Americans would have a black box in their homes, from which the devil would proceed.
That doesn't make Bill damned for watching National geographic, though he probably has and should read August issue on the a-bomb and eolic energy. Better yet, meditate on the wounds of Christ and even read about them.
I deserved to be damned, and not live, but Christ disagreed. He found me.
Back to the topic, reading is a good tool, especially good spiritual reading. I would welcome a supertech emp that would blast out only tv, video, and the proverbial boom-box, many folk deserve to have shooved up their ____TT. Would folk then pick up McGuffy's reader? I doubt it. Let's hope hope Bush or the Americans reunite in Yankee stadium and continue to pray for their enemies and the many pinch hitters needed to to convert are found. That would make even tv a blessing. The devil is obliged to work for God. And God does make all things work for his good and glory.
I don't relish the idea of reading poorly translated Chinese and Russian propoganda after a "surprise" emp and parachute visits. But it would make good toilet paper. A duelling prayer rally in Yankee and Shea stadium would be better.
Fasting, sackcloth, the whole bit. Might work. Tell Hilary.

We have to be careful, our enemies think. Stalin might not have repented by delaying retaliations against Hitler, his meal uninterrupted. It might have been a stage. Scorched Earth policy and anorexia is a warfare method, a sort of loophole to more justified "psychosis" killings in the end.
The danger with "caution" and total peacefulness is that it opens loopholes in PC fashion for other sorts of killings in greater numbers. Women's right and abortion comes to mind. Disarmament schemes follow closely. Cheney's dangerous PC argument of forbidding the right from criticizing Judges like Greer, who murdered Schiavo for his ACLU type cult fame, in conflict of interest, in color of law, imo.
I think it is reasonable to fear that the communists talking of peace, the UN and all, are not merely changing the class and types of crimes and of legitimate killing (classes which would ironicaly exonerate them), but also increasing the number of possibilities for killing and getting away with it. Hate crime law has basicaly allowed gays to rape little kids, be around them without any fear of being called upon their behaviors and the associated dangers. Muslim terrorists ue antiprofiling to legitimate getting away with murderous "suicide" attacks.
What is the purpose of an action. It may be peaceful but not bring peacefulness, kind of like the Atkins product vs. the Atkins diet. Calculated risk is sinful, voyeuristic science, inherently conspiratorial, for sure, but one has to repent and show the computations for sake of others understanding's and means to compete fairly in this duel - best virtual.
I see all vanity, a chess game, who has the last word, last play, last move, wins.Words stop us from killing each other
