Christians believe the apostle Paul’s assertion that Satan is the God of this world, and the that our struggle is ultimately, not a physical struggle against physical foes, but a spiritual combat against spiritual adversaries (see Eph. 6:12-17). I have been monitoring what is being said on certain Christian conspiracy-type web sites as of late, and the message that is coming through loud and clear is that it will soon be time to “take up the sword” and literally fight against the New World Order forces that have supposedly taken over the reigns of power in our nation. It is my sincere belief that what is being advocated on such sites--physical warfare against the government of the land in which they live--is the very opposite of the counsel of Jesus and his apostles.

As I have argued on the "Responding to Government Tyranny” thread, this is definitely not God’s will for this time and this place; and those who rise to heed this call could very well bring about the death and/or imprisonment of many, including those who don't endorse their violent tactics. This is likely to occur when individuals seeking to "restore their constitutional liberties" by violent means are branded by the media and government, not as "patriots" but as “terrorists” who deserve to be treated as criminals. Ultimately, it is likely that all conservative Christians who hold politically incorrect views, will be lumped together with such “terrorists,” and will suffer a fate similar to theirs.

Has it occurred to those who believe in conspiracy theory that a general rebellion against the United States government would serve the purposes of any so-called New World Order by allowing it to identify, eliminate or jail it’s adversaries? But would a civil war in the U.S benefit anyone else? There are may who believe that the the big winner would be our true external foes, the Russians and the Chinese.

There have been a number of prophecies given by contemporary Christian prophets indicating that the Russians and Chinese are going to attack the United States after an internal civil war begins in our country. There is also a good deal of factual evidence out there which indicates that the Russians and Chinese are not our friends, and that they secretly desire to bring us down. (Russia's creation of the "Iranian problem" by building the Iranian nuclear reactors being one case in point, among many.)

Here's a couple of posts, by JR Nyquist, which do an excellent job of summarizing the lethal Russian strategy against the US. (The first one is the "short version.")

Given the fact of Russia's ingenious and diabolical final phase plans, it's very interesting to observe that our Russian foes appear to be conspiracy theory 'true believers.'

http://english.pravd...dback/110699-0/

They also apparently foresee a coming civil war in the U.S.

http://online.wsj.co...0709638419.html

In a recently archived broadcast on a NWO type conspiracy web-site (from early December, 2009) it was stated that "high level sources" have revealed that our government is preparing to move against Christians, gun-owners, former military personnel, anti-abortion activists, etc., and that, in thinly veiled terms, it's time to get ready for a fight. This move, it was said, might occur as soon as January. Some of those being targeted are supposedly on a "yard farming list;" meaning that they (and their families), will simply be taken out with hell fire missiles, delivered courtesy of attack helicopters guided by GPS devices planted by government census workers.

The thing that concerns me here is that if this individual is telling the truth about what he has heard from his "high level sources," then it might indicate that the there are those who are attempting to use such sources to plant information which might incite right wing extremists into beginning a "rebellion" that will have to be put down. Such a strategy would serve to eliminate the major sources of opposition to the current administration's political program of "change." [Other possible explanations for the man's statements might be: 1) His "high level sources" are simply being fed false information so that they can be ferreted out when the information is revealed, 2) He or his family members are being "held hostage" by threats from Russian FSB (intelligence service) agents, 3) the man is a paid Russian FSB agent (not likely, in my opinion) or 4) ? ]

Whatever the motivation for this man's statements, a number of his listeners who suspect that they are on the 'government hit list' may be tempted to be "pro-active" and strike first, thus bringing about an inevitable government move against such "home grown terrorists" for the sake of national security. If enough violence is instigated, martial law could be proclaimed (and constitutional rights suspended), then a general round up of all 'potential terrorists' is quite likely to take place. (Google: "DHS Report On Right-wing Extremism" to find out who is a 'potential terrorist.')

On the "Responding To Government Tyranny" thread I have made the case for Christian non-violent resistance to any perceived violations of our constitutional rights. To react violently in this time and place, may very well play into the hands of our enemies--be they foreign, or domestic.

Conspiracy theory can be very captivating to those who are susceptible to it's hypnotic, Siren song. But such a belief will serve to, when conditions are perceived to be dire enough, bring about a "kill the bastards" response in the hearts of those who subscribe to it. And perhaps that's exactly what the foes arrayed against us want--particularly our spiritual foes--something that will result in the premature deaths of their perceived enemies.

I for one, as a Christian, will take counsel from the words of Jesus, who said to Pilate, "IF my kingdom were of this world my followers would fight" (against the Jewish puppet government of his day, and the Roman government backing it). Since Jesus' kingdom is not currently and earthly kingdom I, for one, am not going to be found fighting against my own, duly elected government. Of course, this will be seen by those "fighting to restore our constitutional liberties" as a cowardly response. Should they prevail, then such "cowards" may even suffer a traitor's death.

In response, all I can say is that it is one thing for a Christian to fight against the external foes of our nation. It is quite another to take up arms against our own government, even if one believes that it is evil. This is a lesson which the Christians, living in the time of the evil/pagan Roman empire--an empire which periodically denied them the right to life because of their religious beliefs--knew and practiced. In spite of the fact that they were persecuted by the Roman government for their faith, they choose to go to their deaths non-violently, as sheep to slaughter, because they know that such a "glorious death" was but the beginning of their eternal happiness. We would do well to follow their example. But I fear that such counsel will fall on deaf ears and, as a result, millions, could be imprisoned or executed as so-called terrorists.

Should this worst-case 'civil war scenario' come to pass, the Russians will, no doubt, gleefully anticipate the coming the fulfillment of their plans, and then they will be in a position to put their next generation of missiles and nuclear warheads to "good use." Perhaps they will, ironically, tell the world that they had to attack us, "in order to save us from ourselves."

But in the meantime, many Christians may very well be faced with the strong temptation to take up arms against their own government. I believe that it is for such people that the the following words of Jesus are particularly relevant. Jesus said, “The thief (the Devil) comes to kill, steal and destroy.” Truly those who believe the Devil's lie that they must physically fight against a government sanctioned “New World Order” will be setting themselves up to fall prey to “The Thief’s” plan for their and their loved ones lives….

Perhaps the real answer to the question, “Why Conspiracy Theories” is found in the words of a man who’s web site I happened to come across today:

http://www.unleavene...ge=swordorcross

God is raising up this beast kingdom to crucify us as their forefathers crucified our Master. At the same time, the beast will purge Christianity of those who refuse to go to their cross of death to self.

Christians constantly send me e-mails about the conspiracies of the government and it's leaders. Most of this is “he said that she said” stuff with no real proof. Unsubstantiated accusations are just gossip and forbidden by God’s Word. According to Law no one can be accused without two or three witnesses. Witnesses see and know personally. We shouldn’t accept accusations against a government or person without witnesses, earthly or heavenly.

The devil is being permitted by God to stir up conspiracy theories so that paranoid, disobedient Christians will fight this government and be destroyed. The Lord said to me, “Spirits of paranoia will stir up Christians to fight against this country. In this way I will cleanse my Church of those that refuse to obey and go to their cross.”

“The cross” that is spoken of here is the cross of non-violent martyrdom for the sake of one’s witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the same cross that millions of Christians have nobly born during the past 1900 plus years, and it is the same cross that many will soon be called upon to embrace. May we be numbered among those who resisted the coming Beast government of the Antichrist, not by force of arms, but by means of the word of our testimony, and the blood of the Lamb.

“And they overcame him (the Dragon/Devil, who gives his authority to the end-of-the-age Beast government*) because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.” Rev.12:11

During late antiquity there was no distinction between "The Roman Empire" and Judeo Christian Civilization.

The Empire no longer persecuted Christians (or really Jews either) because it had itself become officially Christian.

With Bibles in hand (or more likely in saddle bags / rucksacks) and bejeweled with crosses they faced the onslaught of the Eastern invaders , said a prayer, and saved the West from oblivion.

A similar change to our current secular structures cannot be ruled out.

After an increasing series of disasters the leadership class might "get religion" just like the formerly debauched solons of Rome's halls of power did.

Hi
What you are speaking of is pacifism, and pacifism is an heresy. If all Christians were like you, Christianity would have been destroyed long ago! There is only one true Church and that is the Catholic Church and here is a link to a speech by St Bernard when he addressed Catholics regarding the second Crusade. [url="http://www.tradition...rdVezelay.htm"]
I have been to so many "Christian" websites and all of them have no idea what is really going on as they have been fooled by the devil to believe lies. God's grace is not with them. Sometimes the devil adds in a little truth to make what is being said plausible. Even within the Novus Ordo Church they have believed many lies spoken by false prophets. Read 2 Thessalonians2:6-14 "6 And now you know what withholdeth, that he may be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity already worketh; only that he who now holdeth, do hold, until he be taken out of the way. 8 And then that wicked one shall be revealed whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth; and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming, him, 9 Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders, 10 And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying:

10 "God shall send"... That is God shall suffer them to be deceived by lying wonders, and false miracles, in punishment of their not entertaining the love of truth.

11 That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity. 12 But we ought to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of God, for that God hath chosen you firstfruits unto salvation, in sanctification of the spirit, and faith of the truth: 13 Whereunto also he hath called you by our gospel, unto the purchasing of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 14 Therefore, brethren, stand fast; and hold the traditions which you have learned, whether by word, or by our epistle." There is no salvation outside the true Catholic Church.
Our Lady of Fatima told us that Russia will be the tool of God's chastisement and as it says in Apocalypse 13:9-10 9 "If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10 He that shall lead into captivity, shall go into captivity: he that shall kill by the sword, must be killed by the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints." God is clearly telling us that we should defend His Honour by killing his enemies and unfortunately many of God's enemies are within our own governments.
If you do not fight it is you they will be sentencing to one of their lovely gulags.
To die fighting for the Glory and Honour of Christ is the highest level of martyrdom and I hope to be one of those martyrs!!
Sincerely
Y

Just a friendly reminder, we will not allow "The Troubles" to invade this forum.

Offenders will be dealt with harshly and with no appeal possible.

I am not a pacifist. I endorse "just war theory" as espoused by the Catholic church. One of the criteria for a just war in Church teaching is that it be conducted under the auspices of a "legitimate authority." Any revolution against the United States government by it's citizens because the government is supposedly controlled by New World Order surrogates does not, in my mind, lend itself to being a "just war;" since it obviously would not be sanctioned by government authorities--unless one considers the Russian Intelligence Service* as a government authority that should be obeyed. <_<

*As I have stated previously, the Sorcha Faal web site is probably an FSB outlet, and it is rife with NWO conspiracy theory overtones....

Befruitful, I trust that you realize I am not endorsing belief in conspiracy theories, but simply warning those who do believe in such not to engage in violence....

I do remember Honza from the "old days." What is the link for his website?

Honza went to jail for beating up an eagle statue in his church. I saw one the other day. They're sort of ugly, but represent St. John.

Sounds like Honza should become an Eastern Orthodox Christian. They typically don't have any "graven (3 dimensional) images" in their churches.

I am not a scholar but my readings have brought me to the truth, that Christianity is the religion of Life and Islam is the religion of Death.
The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches love. Islam teaches killing. The Moon god is the devil, and Islam is a fraud.
Jesus is life! And my Lord. He lives!

As I have indicated in the Mark of The Beast thread, I have come to the conclusion that the NWO conspiracy theory is a straw man; and that those who believe in it, and who stridently oppose the so-called evil bankers and their minions are playing into the hands of the future anti-christ--who, I believe, will come out strongly against the so-called promulgators of the "facist NWO" When the world financial system finally dopes collapse, it is the "evil bankers" who are going to be blamed. The coming global financial system (which is, in my opinion, is likely to be a computer based credit system) will probably be trotted out in the context of a global debt forgiveness program. This is likely to be an important plank in the platform upon which the anti-christ will successfully make his bid for world leadership.

Unfortunately, it is also my belief that this financial collapse will also be followed by the next world war; a war which will also be blamed upon the "evil bankers." But again, it is the anti-christ who stands to benefit--as the coming peacemaker and architect of the soon to be, world-wide 'communitarian' economic-political system.

The point I wish to make here is simply this. If you are a conspiracy theorist and are duped into fighting against the so-called NWO forces which supposedly have gained control of our governemnt, you will only be furthering the ultimate emergence of the anti-christ! (Along with the Final Phase plans of our Russian and Chinese foes.)
